Student, Utah Valley University
A 2019 graduate from Utah Valley University, Calli Case is pursuing a career in financial planning to help people with an integral and personal part of their lives.
Last October, I attended my first FPA conference and competed in the Financial Planning Challenge hosted by FPA, Ameriprise Financial and CFP Board. This year, I’ll take my knowledge of financial planning and apply it in the real world.
In March, I’ll sit for the CFP® exam, and in May, I plan to graduate from Utah Valley University with an undergraduate degree in personal financial planning. That’s when I will kickstart my career at a great advisory firm in Salt Lake City!
I decided to pursue a career in financial planning because I want to help people with something so integral and personal in their lives. I get to build meaningful relationships, help people enact change and accomplish their goals, and that sounds like a pretty rewarding career!
FPA has helped me bridge the educational gaps and I have learned so much about the industry through being a member. I am so excited to continue to learn and grow in my profession and as an FPA member. 2019 is my year!
