After more than 20 years as a member of the FPA and serving on the national board, Lee Baker still learns new ideas from fellow members and thought leaders at national and local events.

I’m making 2019 my year by keeping a sharp focus on building my business, adding staff and strengthening connections in my community. FPA is going to play a part in all those areas.

At local and national conferences, I’ll connect with my colleagues and learn from thought leaders on ways to build value and improve my firm. Local chapter events like speed networking will give me the opportunity to meet the next team member at our firm.

In my role as past national FPA Board Member and current President of AARP Georgia, we will continue building an alliance that gives us a stronger voice when the time comes to speak out on issues like the best interest regulation. And I’m sure that we will continue to make strides towards making our profession more diverse and inclusive.
